Henrik Jensen is an experienced lawyer and has been admitted to the Supreme Court of Norway. Henrik brought legal protection insurance to the Nordic countries. He founded and is an active owner of two law firms (Legalis and Legal24) and a legal insurance company (Legal Insurance Group) in Norway and Scandinavia. He is also doing Litigation Funding in the Nordics through the company Therium Nordic AS. Henrik completed his first degree in law in Oslo, followed by a Master of Law at the Max-Planck-Institute in Munich, with a thesis in EU copyright-law.

Stefan Bleyhl

Stefan is an experienced and knowledgeable partner with 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. After joining BCG in 1998 he worked on various projects for national and international clients in Germany, Europe and America. His focus topics are Marketing & Sales, Operating Models and larger transformations. He is also leading the Insurance PA and the Marketing & Sales effort in Germany & Austria.

Interestingly, Stefan’s educational background is rather different from typical insurance topics as he received his Master of Physics from the Technical University of Berlin and his BA in Physics and Natural Sciences from Imperial College London.

Rainer Brune

Rainer Brune has been CEO of ROLAND Rechtsschutz Germany for 7 years and has successfully led ROLAND Rechtsschutz, one of the leading German legal protection insurers, into the digital age.

Rainer was elected to the LPI Board in October 2018 and became Vice-President in November 2019.

Rainer has a successful career in insurance with stations, inter alia, as member of the Management Boards at AXA Versicherung AG, Cologne and DBV Deutsche Beamtenversicherung AG, Wiesbaden, and other management posts with AXA Versicherung and Colonia-Nordstern Versicherung, Cologne. He studied business administration at the University of Passau.

Christophe Boiton

Christophe has headed CFDP since 2012. He holds an MBA from Lyon Business School and a Master in Human Resources from Sciences-Po Paris. Christophe promotes legal protection focused on alternative dispute resolution methods. His company, CFDP, is an independent insurer, specializing in legal protection, and it is one of the major players in France. CFDP has been engaged for several years in the digital transformation of its business model which makes it possible to benefit from the advantages of digital and at the same time keeping the human dimension of legal protection at the heart of customer relations.

Barbara Sibilla

Barbara is responsible for the Major clients departement at CAP Switzerland, She studied law in Fribourg and got her MBA in business and administration at the Business School in Lausanne. She has a long experience in finding global and legal solutions for large structures such as associations. First as Secretary general of associations from many different branches and then, for almost 10 years at CAP Legal Protection, as head of the Major clients department. Her department is one of the only ones in Switzerland to have an entire team in charge of setting up completely individualised, "à la carte" products for important clients.

Nic De Maesschalck is heading the European (www.Bipar.eu) as well as the World (www.wfii.net) Federation of Intermediaries. Also, as Director of POI (Partners of Intermediaries) and with the engagement of BIPAR Academy Nic helps facilitating the understanding of the European Single Insurance Market amongst BIPAR members and brings together key people, e.g. from the regulatory and supervisory community, industry representatives and academics to exchange views and experiences. Nic De Maesschalck holds a master’s degree in commercial and financial sciences, in Consular sciences, and he is specialized in insurance management. He joined BIPAR after having worked for a consultant.

In April 2021, Fynn Monshausen became Head of Digital Sales at Gothaer Versicherung, one of the major players in the German market. His objective is to build up a holistic digital approach to customers through all types of insurances.

In 2010 Fynn started at ROLAND Rechtsschutz-Versicherungs-AG as student trainee within the department ‘Product- and Innovation Management’. Since 2017, he had been building ROLAND’s digital sales unit (B2B2C and B2C) and reached a milestone already in 2020, when digital sales became the most advanced and relevant channel for all retail customers at ROLAND. At the same time, Fynn’s key activities started to focus on improving the business model by expanding to new markets (international) and new digital market niches (commercial customers).

Simon Warr

Simon Warr has worked in the legal protection profession since 1989. He has been involved in promoting and establishing new markets for legal protection insurance in jurisdictions around the world. He is one of the very few legal protection underwriters to write business in both the Lloyd’s and company markets.

In his career, Simon has primarily been focusing on underwriting and has worked for AmTrust for the past 10 years. Currently he runs the underwriting teams across 3 sites in the UK.

He started his engagement with Legal Protection International in 2010, joined the Board in 2013 and has been leading the association as President since April 2017.
